Minnesota Hubbards

We finally went apple picking this year! It's a popular activity here in Minnesota that we have been meaning to do the last 3 years. The University of Minnesota has developed some popular types. Our favorite is the honeycrisp apple. I like them so much and the pickings were so good that we picked 25lb to eat and share!
We went to two Halloween parties this week and had a blast. Luke got first place in the men's donut eating contest and I got 3rd in the women's.
Like should be done with his paper for his doctorate next week and graduate in December. He is applying firms job on Eau Claire, WI for a tenure track teaching position at the university there. He already travels once a month to play in a Wisconsin symphony in La Crosse so it would be really nice if he could get the job there too!
We get to go to the Idaho Dairyman's convention in Boise, ID again this month. Charlotte and Murray are so excited to go back to Idaho, ride the airplane and stay in a hotel. They were just on the farm the entire month of September while Luke helped with the hay harvest and other things.
Will post pictures separately.
